It is day 3 of the Nancy Drew Fashion Week.

With this outfit, I took my inspiration from the newer Nancy Drew movie with Emma Watson.

Looks like the outfit she wore on her first day of school, where she just didn't fit in at all.

Nancy Drew- 70's Style...

In Natasha and Ashley's Nancy Drew Fashion Week, I am mostly taking on her look

from the 70's series.

I know this series and look may not be familiar to you.

And the look is not quite what one would picture for Nancy Drew.

It isn't like what is on the cover of the books, and in Emma Watson's Nancy Drew movie.

But I chose this look because it's different, and because that is mostly what I have in my closet.

I am going for the collared shirts, bell bottoms, and scarves.

I couldn't find many good pics of Nancy's 70's look, so to give you a better idea...

Part 3 though has the best demonstration of what I am trying to immitate with the collared shirts and bell bottoms. :)

Day 2 of Natasha and Ashley's Nancy Drew Fashion Week.

Today Nancy is being sneaky.

(i am taking this way too seriously aren't i?)

Doin a little snooping, sticking her nose where it's not supposed to be,

getting in a little pickle, but of course always thinking up a way to get herself out of trouble.

Found A Clue- day 1

Hello everybody! I recently found out about the

Nancy Drew Fashion Week hosted by

Natasha and Ashley...it sounds like a blast!

I am absolutely in love with Nancy Drew!

My creative juices suddenly began to flow all of a sudden,

so I took all of my pics for this week in the same day.

Saves time too. :)

Well, this is my Nancy Drew outfit and no....

I cannot NOT pose dramatically.

I am an actress at heart so I "became" Nancy Drew for an hour or so.

What would Nancy wear?

What would Nancy do?

How would Nancy do her hair?

Etc, etc...

While looking through my closet, I came to the decision that most of my

Nancy outfits would be from the 70's.

I also just love that old 70's Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys series.

So I broke out my biggest bell bottom jeans and collared shirts to get that 70's groove.

Nancy is investigating of course! What else would she be doing? :) And she always finds something with her handy dandy magnify lens.
