So, I got a job! Finally!
I am now employed downtown at a local bridal boutique.
Ever seen those bridal shows on TLC?
I pretty much do that...only on an alot smaller scale.
I'm gonna let you in on a little secret...
it's alot more complicated and detailed than TLC makes it seem.
Today was my first day on the job and let's just say that my brain is just a tad bit fried.
My boss threw so much info at me that the ache that was forming in my brain eventually
moved down to my back and then to my stomach.
You have to measure guys for tuxes, order items from the catalog, steam the dresses,
help people figure out what they want (which is actually the fun part), and so much more. I'm sure I will eventually get the hang of everything, but I just want to make sure I know what I'm doing and do everything correctly. After all, weddings are extremely important! Even though this new job is challenging and confusing, I feel extremely blessed to have it.
God knew what kind of job I wanted and.... He won't throw anything at me that I can't handle.

I found this quote this evening that really encouraged me:

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,

"I will try again tomorrow."

~Mary-Anne Radmacher

If any of you have any questions "bridal" wise....let me know! ;)

Congrats girl! My bf's mammaw used to work at a bridal shoppe, and she talks so very fondly of her whole experiences working there. Keep us posted! I wanna know the inner workings of bridal boutiques, okay? Plus, I just may need dress advice from you in the near future! ;)
