RC5 Houseboat Adventure Pictures

(note the *tried* lol) watcha think???? Emi took this one. Every night there was a gorgeous sunset. A pic I took of Beth and Katelyn while on a canoe adventure. I actually took this one of myself. It's hard being the photographer....because you're never in the pictures! I took this one of Emily Lynn doing an awesome job paddling. I thought it looked like a shot from a movie. One I took of Emi, Mom, and Beth. I really liked the color of the water in this one. Emi took this one herself. I think it's her hand too.....thought it looked really pretty. Once again I took this one of myself, by myself. I look kinda mean...so I added the hearts to lighten it up a bit. lol Emily Lynn, her little brother, and Emi goin paddle boatin. I can't decide which one I like best.... this one..... or the next one... I'm not sure who took this one....but I was playing around with a zooming effect. :) Me with the gorgeous lake behind. AAAhhhhhh....

Update and such

Howdy everybody! Sorry I haven't been posting too much lately. RC5 went and stayed on a house boat with both our families for a week. It was soooo much fun. I will post some pics as soon as I can. I will also post some of the Alice in Wonderland photoshoot pics as soon as I get my hands on them. ;) lol They turned out really well. All our costumes were so amazing and funky!!! Anywhooooo...... Everyone's Wearing

So, there is this new trend out called....not jeans.....not leggings....but..... (are you ready for it?)

JEGGINGS!!!!! I don't know about you but everytime I hear the word I think of Jello. Mabye I'm crazy....

Anywho. I actually bought me a cheap pair last winter before this whole big fashion trend started. (aren't I cool!!!) I didn't buy it cause I thought they looked neat....I mostly bought it for comfiness sake. I love the look of skinny jeans....but hate the feel. It just seems to rub in all the wrong places.....know what I mean? (wow...you can tell I'm hyper) Ahem...

Now...I think jeggings is actually a cool idea. Like I have already stated, I think it's awesome how they look like skinny jeans, but feel like comfy leggings. But one thing I don't like about them is how tight they are. I mean, skinny jeans are tight enough....not to mention leggings! So I would totally only wear them with a long tunic shirt or a shorter dress. (unlike the pics up above)

So anyways.... I just thought that since they are so popular and all the celebrities are wearing them (like I care....) I would do a post on them. :)

Top Hat Fun

My sister and I got this top hat from a friend for our Alice in Wonderland photoshoot. (Emily Bryte is the Mad Hatter....aka Johnny Depp!) As you can see....we had fun posing with it on. :) I love hats!

Miss Raquel is doing a Narnia Contest on her fashion blog. It looks really cool. I found out too late though, and can't enter enough posts to count. (plus I don't think I could think of four posts to do! Narnia is kind of a hard topic!) So...today I was just messing around and put together a Narnia outfit just for fun. This Saturday, RC5 are getting together to do an Alice in Wonderland photoshoot. We all chose different characters and are basing our costumes off of the newish movie that came out. (I am the white queen....so that should be interesting) So, expect some pictures sometime soon. I hope they turn out as good as I am imagining! :)

Princess Dresses

A friend and I were browsing the web (cause we had nothing else to do...) and found this awesome website. It has wedding dresses galore! (of course they are all name brand and way too expensive to even dream about) But this one designer caught our attention. Boho Style....Wha????

I took this quiz from Chic Fashionista called "What's Your Style?" I went to Beth's wonderful blog genuinebeau.com to take it. It's so easy cause it's only 5 questions long.

But anyway...guess what style I am! Bohemian! I was like "Sweet!........what is it?" I've never really heard of it before....let alone thought it was my style. So I went on Polyvore.com to see what exactly it is. It turns out there are alot of really cool pieces that I really like! I noticed that I do actually wear alot of stuff like that. Creative Urges

So today I had a creative urge to do something really unusual and.....creative. Yesterday a friend gave me an idea to try on Polyvore.com. Make something of nature....out of non-nature items. So, I gave it a try. It was way harder than I thought. But in the end....I like how it looked. :) You should try it sometime.
